Fields of application:
Shut-off dampers against fire and smoke in ventilation ducts - fire dampers - are used for the automatic locking of fire lobbies in ventilation and air conditioning systems. They constitute unregulated construction products according to Building Regulation List B Part 2 and are subject to approval. The "General and Special Conditions" of the general technical approval Z-41.3-309 in its current form, the mounting and operating instructions and the common standards and guidelines must be observed in connection with the technical documentation.



Characteristics:


  • tested to DIN 4102-6, resistance class K90

  • Housing made of galvanised sheet steel

  • Damper leaf made of galvanised sheet steel with continuous axle, abrasion-resistant and break-proof.

  • Installation in/on massive walls/ceilings, in lightweight partition walls (DIN 4102-4 Tab.48), in lightweight walls Knauf W 628 or Rigips 3.80.10 (Attention: use BK-188 shaft wall design), away from/outside of walls, flange-to-flange, with mortar lining in parts, in wooden beam ceilings (observe Promat work sheet 428.31).

  • Installation in non-combustible ventilation ducts independently of the air flow direction

  • Drives/triggers - pneumatic, electric, magnetic - possible

  • Drives can be actuated by means of smoke trigger devices with general technical approval (aBZ) (e.g. SCHAKO RMS-L)

  • Hygiene type test to VDI 6022, Sheet 1 and DIN 1946, Sheet 2

  • Extensive range of special accessories and designs



Models:
Made of galvanised sheet steel, stanless steel 1.4301 (V2A) or 1.4571 (V4A)
